Research Books
Those pages are intended to share those books I’ve found useful in the course of writing my novels and short stories. Writers most often need details about daily life and mentalities, whereas many history books focus on the history of succession and what monarch did what for the country–which is interesting but not a writer’s primary area of interest.
My areas of interest are mosly Aztec Mexico and Imperial China, and this is where you’ll find the most books. I’ve tried to include history books as well as literature from the time period–which I always think is very reflective of the mindset. The rating in stars is over five, and reflects mainly how much I’ve found myself turning to the book as I writing or researching for future writing.
